It is intended for use in moderately to heavily exuding pressure ulcers, post-surgical wounds, and fungal lesions.

Usage:
• Place a dressing slightly larger than the wound to ensure contact with the wound bed and cover the entire wound surface (consider using an alginate ribbon if the wound is deep or undermined).
• Secure with an appropriate retention dressing that does not impede evaporation.
• ALGISITE Ag can remain in place for up to one week. For heavily exuding wounds, change daily.
• When removing ALGISITE Ag, use forceps, tweezers, or a gloved hand to gently lift the dressing.
