BARD Mesh

Bard Mesh

Monofilament polypropylene mesh is a product used for ventral or inguinal hernia repair.

Bard Mesh is the Gold Standard product to be used in a "tension-free" hernia repair technique, strengthening the weakened area and allowing tissue growth and flexibility. Bard Mesh can be customized preoperatively and adapted to any unique situation.

• Customizable and cuttable to meet surgeon's needs
• Optional anterior cut shapes provide space for the spermatic cord and rounded edges conform to the anatomy of the inguinal canal
• Well-tolerated by the body
• Available in six convenient sizes
• Monofilament fibers have less tendency to harbor bacteria compared to multifilament fibers.

BARD 3D Mesh

3DMax™ Mesh

A clinically proven product that does not require fixation, suitable for laparoscopic approaches such as TAPP, TEP, and Robotic TAPP.

3DMax Mesh is developed based on careful and precise anatomical exploration of the inguinal canal. Its three-dimensional, anatomically curved shape, leak-proof edge, and medial orientation marker allow for easier positioning compared to traditional flat mesh, enhancing placement speed and simplicity.

• Fully contoured mesh design to fit the inguinal anatomy
• Leak-proof edge and medial orientation marker designed to provide anatomically correct fit and minimize wrinkles compared to traditional flat mesh
• Eliminates the need for fixation, resulting in time and cost savings
• Patients with Bard 3DMax Mesh without fixation used significantly less narcotic analgesia during the postoperative period compared to patients with flat mesh fixation.
