BACTIGRAS Antiseptic Chlorhexidine-Impregnated Paraffin Tulle Dressing

BACTIGRAS is effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative wound pathogens, including MRSA. It is intended for topical treatment purposes only. It is indicated for a wide range of wounds where there is a risk of infection.

In already infected wounds, BACTIGRAS can be used in conjunction with systemic antibiotics.

The open-weave gauze structure of BACTIGRAS tulle dressing has a low adherence rate and allows for the free drainage of the wound into an absorbent secondary dressing.

Usage:
• It is intended for use as a wound contact layer in cases where the wound area is not more than 10% of the body area and there is a risk of delayed healing due to bacterial load.
• Select the appropriate size of the dressing or cut it to fit the shape if necessary, then remove the protective paper with gloved hands and forceps.
• Place the dressing directly in contact with the wound surface in a single layer.
• Apply a second dressing if necessary and secure it in place with a retention bandage or dressing fixation overlay.
• The frequency of dressing changes depends on clinical conditions.
• When changing the absorbent secondary dressing, BACTIGRAS can be left in place.
• If the dressing adheres, lightly moisten it with sterile saline solution.
