ALLEVYN Ag Sacrum Wound Dressing

The ALLEVYN Ag Sacrum dressing consists of three layers: a soft and highly absorbent hydrocellular layer in contact with the wound, a silver-containing intermediate layer, and a waterproof outer film layer.

ALLEVYN Ag Sacrum ensures antimicrobial efficacy in addition to all the features offered by ALLEVYN.

Appropriate Adhesive Presentation:
The wound contact layer of ALLEVYN Sacrum is coated with a low allergy adhesive designed to adhere well to the entire skin surface while not sticking to the wound. The adhesive has a low risk of causing skin irritation.

High Absorbency:
In vitro studies and clinical experience have shown that ALLEVYN Sacrum dressings can remain in place for up to five days. This capacity is due to a combination of the following features:
• The perforated wound contact layer allows even viscous exudate to pass through to the dressing.
• The hydrocellular core of the dressing absorbs and retains fluid within its microscopic structure.
• The breathable outer surface of the dressing allows excess moisture to escape.

As a result, a wound environment that promotes progress in wound healing without the need for frequent dressing changes is created.
